First book was interesting, a bit convoluted, but bearable once you let yourself just disbelieve the massive plotholes and just enjoy the story, but seriously... this novel suffers from anime DBZ syndrome, where the characters just grow completely unchecked into ridiculous powerhouses, break the system left and right, it's disheartening. I easily see this going the same way as that stupid Way of the Clan crap written by the Russian author whose name escapes me.Look, just watch Naruto, because that's the level this has turned into. I basically force fed myself to this point from literally having nothing else new on my kindle while stuck in the wilderness for a week, but by day 5 I couldn't take it anymore.Look how many books I buy Michael! Look at them! You have made me dislike your content so damn much I'm writing a review!Upsides, everything IS well fleshed out, described, annotated and explained. It's not that the author is a bad writer, he's just a bad storyteller.
